James came out to me one morning from the kitchen wearing a rather odd shoe. Of course by the time I got the camera out it had come off- so I tried to recreate the scene with a somewhat willing James.

Somersaults!
This is a rather long compilation of video clips- about half way thru James actually does do a rather proper somersault- which of course I only caught the tail end of.
Aquarium
When James was on the lower level of the beluga tank (he is on the balcony in the video) he pressed himself up against the tank glass with hands on the glass on either side of his head- fingers spread wide- and said "wow!...wow!" over and over (and after he had licked the glass). All the adults around turned and smiled at him- this toddler impressed by the white whale.
Working on the farm
While Tim and I worked and created sawdust...
James made sawdust stew....
Played with worms....
helped push the wheelbarrow...
and told us "more sawdust!"
Then he got stripped down of his wet, sandy, sawdusty, muddy clothes....
And had some dinner sitting in his big boy chair.
Waddle, waddle
James has been wearing a sleepsack his entire life (almost for two years now!). And ever since he has been walking he has waddled around in it. He looks like a cross between a monk and Obi Wan Kenobi (especially when it is partially unzipped and his legs are sticking out of it. I've been meaning to take some pictures of him like this and although what I captured this past weekend doesn't show it to well at least I got it on camera finally.
