A woman, Stephanie B., at my church is a midwife in the area and recently delivered the baby of someone in my church community/small group. Christi probed this new mother yesterday about her experience with the midwife, practice and delivery hospital and all her feedback was great.
This morning I made my first appointment for March 27th- first thing in the morning. By then I'll be at the end of my 8th week (I think).
The receptionist said I'd go in for an ultrasound first and then talk with the head midwife. I thought maybe it'd just be a doppler heartbeat day, but an ultrasound would be great.
Tim's going with me- so let's hope it's not twins!
